![]() During the second month the park began to fill up and we started losing power mid morning thru early evening (daily) which is unpleasant when it's 95 degrees. After a couple hours they assigned us a new site which worked ok for the first month. Another tenant at a neighboring site called the manager's cell phone for us since the office number was going to voicemail. A tenant drove to the front of the park by the closed gate to let us in. Office was closed Sunday afternoon when we arrived and no check in package was left for us. Read More Read LessĪssigned site was for a 23' trailer without slides and did not work for our 42' with 4 slides. Will definitely return next time we are planning another "adult" trip to Legoland! We camped at Cypress Campground & RV Park in a Motorhome. Would have rated 5 stars except for the close proximity of sites and lack of privacy. ![]() They also have miniature golf, shuffle board, horseshoes, pickleball, basketball hoop and a heated swimming pool. The campground is clean, well maintained with many amenities such as a fully stocked rec hall - pool table, ping pong table, library, games, poker table, dvd's etc in addition to regularly scheduled activities. If you have pets be aware this park welcomes all breeds of dogs. Navigating the roads within the park could be a challenge for some trailers/motorhomes as they are very narrow with tight turns. Just be aware that the sites are very crowded, no privacy and in some instances slide to slide and close enough to hear your neighbors conversations. Most sites appear to be filled with friendly seasonal/permanent guests. Our site, with concrete pad, was well maintained, 30/50 amp, cable tv, and wifi that you can purchase for site use or use for free in their rec center. Staff is professional, friendly and most accommodating when we twice needed to change our arrival date. Pleasant and very quiet retiree campground within 2 miles of Legoland. We camped at Cypress Campground & RV Park in a Motorhome. Winter haven, this is a good Park to be at. My wife used the pool all the time without issue. The owners refuted this fact online and provided receipts to pool cleaning. This made me question the overall cleanliness and I found reviews online that state children were made sick after swimming in the pool. The pool seemed okay but questions of its cleanliness were raised by other residents while I was on site. This would indicate that they are either supplying water illegally or without regard for contamination. There were multiple losses of pressure explained away by the employees as "fixing a leak." However, there were no boil advisories issued after the fact. It actively stinks of sulfur coming from the tap. Possibly the hardest and most brackish water that I've ever encountered in my entire life. In fact, the first time it was brought to my attention, the employee threatened to kick me out if my Corgi was not on lead. This was often in front of the Park employee that had reprimanded me. The long-term residents would have their dogs off lead regularly without reprimand. The second time I was reprimanded, he was offlead while on my pad and the employee stated that he would never have said that it would be okay to do so. This was understandable and I agreed to keep him on lead while walking but asked if it was all right to keep him off lead while on my pad. The first time I was playing catch with him in parking lot. I was reprimanded twice for having my dog off lead. It is never cleaned up properly and I have noticed pests. There is an on-site dog park but it is very lackluster. There is regular garbage pickup which on its surface is a good thing but annoying if you are near the single dumpster as they come around 4am. The dumpster is nearly almost always full making collection irregular process. However, they seem to specifically cater to their long-term residents preferentially. We camped at Cypress Campground & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel. It allowed me to walk over and get groceries as well as other necessities early in the morning when it wasn't crowded.įor me this campground is convenient for visiting family in the area, honestly if that wasn't the case I would probably be staying somewhere else for the winter, but overall it is a good campground. One of the best things about this campground is the fact that there is a Walmart right next store with an opening in the fence that connects(I know some people might not think that is a plus). Legoland, Bok tower, and it is about 45 minutes to Disney and the other attractions in the Orlando area. There is a pool, bocce courts, basketball/pickle ball court, shuffleboard, clubhouse, they have a mini golf course as well as other things. There are quite a few activities throughout the week(bocce, shuffleboard, poker, crafts, movies, etc.). The employees are nice and accommodating. This is for a seasonal winter stay (6 months).
